With the “MARKERAD” collection from Virgil Abloh and IKEA set to release late next year, the designer and interior label have teamed up for an early access pop-up in Paris. Titled “Still Loading,” the temporary store will be the first opportunity to pick up pieces from the limited-edition collaboration.

The pop-up will stock four collaborative rugs exhibited and sold in the store, although these pieces will not be part of the full “MARKERAD” collection that will release next year. Speaking about the rugs, Abloh explained that he wanted them to “become art pieces you put on the wall just as much as functional objects in a home.” Paris will be the first of four cities to host a Virgil Abloh x IKEA pop-up store, so keep an eye out for new locations in the future. The Paris pop-up will open its doors at 11AM local time on September 29.
